Chinese Embassy spokeswoman Ji Rong has said that India's decision to ban certain Chinese apps is discriminatory and vague. He said that this decision of the Government of India is against fair and transparent procedures and abuses national security exceptions. Rong also called the decision against world trade rules.
He said that this decision is not appropriate given the consumer interests and market competition in India. This move is against the general trend of international trade and e-commerce. He said that China will strongly oppose this move of the Indian government and at the same time we will appeal to India to change its discriminatory behavior.

China came into concern, gave reference to international laws
Earlier, China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian has said that China is concerned about this and is assessing the situation. 59 apps including Tiktok have been banned
