The Chinese government has been stung by the prohibition on applications. Chinese Foreign Minister representative Lao Lijian stated, "We are worried about India's turn and are investigating the circumstance." Boycott Violation of WTO Rules: 


The  Chinese Embassy in New Delhi has responded emphatically to the G Rong boycott. Government office representative Ji Rong stated, China is worried about India's activity and contradicts it. This is an infringement of the World Trade Organization (WTO) rules. Rong said the applications that are restricted have an enormous number of clients in India. All the applications were carefully adhering to Indian law and rules.
